Celebrate Our Beautiful Planet...and The Super Power of Words

"Words are containers for power, you choose what kind of power they carry." ~Joyce Meyer

Little Gems of Wisdom & Fun from Mary Lynn Ziemer

Today is a great day to celebrate! This day marks the 50th anniversary of Earth Day! Not only can we celebrate our magnificent planet, but we can also celebrate the incredible power of... our words. What do our words have to do with Earth Day, you ask? Keep reading. They are more connected than you may think.

According to HeartMath Institute, “Researchers have discovered that a resonant frequency from the Earth’s magnetic field vibrates at 0.1 HZ – the same frequency as our heart rhythm when we’re in a heart coherent state.

Today and every day, increased love, kindness and cooperation with each other will do much to bridge our coherent alignment with Earth and nature. Increasing our love raises our energy vibration, which increases our harmonious interaction with Earth and each other, day-to-day.”

We can do our share to live in harmony with others and raise the Earth’s energy vibration by increasing our love, kindness, and compassion with each other. And we can do it with something profoundly simple… the words we speak!

How? It’s a very simple concept. We all know that words can have a powerful effect on us. Words can change a moment, a direction of events, and can even change lives. It's so important that we always communicate clearly with loving, kind, and respectful words. Words have the ability to take us, and those we are speaking with, to amazing places. As the creator of your very own world, what you say goes. So, be sure to choose your words wisely and make choices that you’ll be happy with. As you do, you will have the most positive impact on your life and the lives of others.

See your words as the "paint" that shapes the picture of your reality.   When we speak, our emotions become stronger.  As the energy of our words becomes amplified, they create more of whatever it is that we are talking about. So, it is crucial that the words you speak are about something you want to create more of. Your words should make you feel good!  So, say what you mean with love. There is always a way to express what you want with respect. Start with being patient. When you are calm, patience is a natural side effect. Take the power of words to a whole new level. Look for the good in everything others do and compliment them. Yes! Just begin to practice this, one interaction at a time. There is so much to be grateful for. The health workers, first responders, and employees at our essential businesses. They are working long hours to take care of us and ensure our safety and the health of our loved ones. Continue to thank them for their service. Be appreciative through words. And what about your own home? Find the best in those that you are living with during this time of stay at home mandates. Praise others often. You will feel so much better and so will they. Wherever you are, the good is there, all around you. You just have to see it! Take notice of things that others do well. Stay focused on their positive traits and actions that you detect, and share your feedback with them and to others. Spread only kind words and good news, and notice how good it makes YOU feel too. During times like these use “Flip the Switch to Joy,” in your head and your heart, to let go of anything that is keeping you from feeling calm about anyone or anything.

Start by putting your hand on your heart and say to yourself, "I send you love from my heart and I let these feelings go, knowing I have the power to create my life in any way I want."

It will bring you peace and calm. Then, commit to a new habit in your life when it comes to words. Make a point to speak only about things that make you feel good, that bring you joy. Think deeply about the wonders and awe of nature and our planet. Search for a beautiful bird to focus on as you look through your window. Find new "feel-good" things to talk about. Why? Whatever you talk about you create more of it. That’s why you need to choose clearly and wisely what it is that you speak about. So, the important question that you want to ask yourself is this. Do you want to create more of what you are talking about? If the answer is yes, repeat that story over and over again to yourself and to others. If not, find a new subject for conversation, one that makes you feel wonderful. One that fills your love tank to overflowing. If you want to create better and deeper relationships with your family, you must look for the good in them. If you want to do your share to create Earth as a better place for everyone, speak about and feel deep gratitude for what you love about it, and see how it makes you feel. Focus on what you love about nature and the joy that it brings you. And always treat it with kindness, reverence, and respect.

During this unprecedented event, we've proven our capacity for collective action. So, there's no better time than now to keep moving forward. What can each and everyone of us do to ensure that generations to come, our children and their children’s children, will have access to this most magnificent, green planet? Imagine what the planet would look like if we all spoke from our hearts. We’ve proven our capacity for more kindness, compassion, and generosity. We’ve risen to the occasion with the beauty of our human spirit. Now, what if we all choose words of respect, love, and kindness? Now, that's something to think about... and celebrate!

Have an absolutely magical week full of love, gratitude, and fun, fun, FUN!
