Listen to Your Gut

“Listen to the wind, it talks. Listen to the silence, it speaks. Listen to your heart, it knows.” Native American Proverb

Little Gems of Wisdom & Fun from Mary Lynn Ziemer

So often we think that the world and the way it works is so complicated. But, truthfully, it is just the opposite... it’s really quite simple. We just need to understand how it works and use that knowledge to our advantage.

Life in the moment is meant to be lived to the fullest. When each experience of your day is given your full attention with love and gratitude, it will blossom into your desired outcome. Your life will flow like a river, so much more in sync, as you align with your true nature.

How does this happen?

Focus on listening to your intuition and allowing it to open fully. In a relaxed and calm way, you can develop this great gift of "knowing." Your intuition, that feeling in your gut, or the calm, supportive voice in your mind will show you the way to achieving your desires. Feel and listen to the messages that you receive. It is there that you will find your path. It is there that you will have clarity in the decisions that you should make. Know that all of the answers are within you. You have everything you need to create the life of your dreams, everything required to move forward.

When you silence your mind and allow your inner voice to flow, you will hear and feel the answers come forth from within you.

Do not dismiss these thoughts and feelings or ignore these instincts. Feel safe in listening, because it is through these physical and emotional sensations that your guidance will come. It is in these feelings that you will know your truth.

With faith and certainty, understand that these feelings and thoughts will only bring you peace and a sense of clarity. They can only come from a place of calm.

Action Steps:

When your body is relaxed and your mind is calm, information will flow to you easily. A calming shower, a walk in nature, or your morning drive may also be the space where your mind is receptive.

However, a more structured approach is best for developing your intuitive muscle. Just take 15 minutes a day to get quiet and calm with yourself, and put your mind at ease with deep breathing or meditation. Be sure your shoulders are relaxed and let your breath guide you.

Then, ask questions mentally or out loud and listen to the guidance you receive. It comes to you in the form of gut feelings, goose bumps, repetitive sounds, and other physical sensations. These are messages from the depth of your soul, steering you with amazing insight. Trust what you feel, so that you can put the full energy of your convictions behind these feelings. With daily practice during quiet time, you will soon move through your day, tuned into the frequency of your sixth sense’s channel, receiving guidance all day long.

As you believe in yourself more and more, you will move forward with confidence. You will see that you always reap great results. This process will yield the manifestation of your desires, often in a way that is beyond your expectations.

Imagine what it feels like to swim in a sea of your greatest dreams coming true! Now, as you move through your day, hold an affirmation or thought and see a picture in your mind of what you desire. Feel gratitude... and you will see these "dreams" become reality.

You have been given this magnificent inner guidance system to show you the way to living your most joyful life. All you have to do is listen to it, feel it, trust it, and act on it... right now!

Have an absolutely magical week full of love, gratitude, and fun, fun, FUN!
