“Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your wild and precious life?” – Mary Oliver
Little Gems of Wisdom & Fun from Mary Lynn Ziemer
What does it mean to live your life to the fullest? Likely there are as many answers to this question as there are people in the world. Everyone will define it uniquely and perfectly for themselves. And, the answer to this question is very important for each one of us. We must stretch our imagination, dream big dreams, and get clarity about our desired path. However, I’d like you to look at the answer to this question from another, more simple perspective.
Each moment you are living in is the moment that you should focus on living to the fullest. This is the moment that will bring you great satisfaction and joy...if you allow it to. Concentrating with love, gratitude, and fun in the present moment is the most simple and powerful solution to living your life to the fullest NOW and to getting what you want most quickly, going forward. This means that you are consciously aware of not only what you are doing, but also of the joy that you are receiving from each moment of your life. Sometimes it requires a shift in your perspective, but you can do it!
Acclaimed Neuroscientist Lisa Feldman Barrett says it this way. “That means, in effect, that you construct the environment in which you live. You might think about your environment as existing in the outside world, separate from yourself, but that’s a myth. You (and other creatures) do not simply find yourself in an environment and either adapt or die. You construct your environment –your reality, by virtue of what sensory input from the physical environment your brain selects; it admits some as information and ignores some as noise.”
Be aware of the energy that you put forth with your thoughts, words, and actions in response to how you are feeling in each moment. This holds the precious key to the creation of your life in the way that you truly desire, to get the outcome that you want.
When you give this moment your attention, with love and gratitude in your heart, you will also find that you are having more fun. And love, gratitude, and fun always take you to a calm mindset. You are then mindful of what you are creating as you go, in a way that feels very, very good.
Now you’ve got it! When you’re feeling so much love and really having fun, it gives you a sense of wonder for the power that you truly are! It is your path to joy, and everything that you truly want. When the joy and calm wash over you, as you allow your heart to open to love, you will see the beauty of your life around you right now, in this present moment. It is nothing short of magical... and it’s when the miracles abound!
Here’s a mantra that you can say first thing in the morning, before you go to sleep, and all day long to create the only autopilot that matters: "I am so grateful that I feel more love and gratitude, and I have more fun than ever before. I create only perfection instantly!"
Have an absolutely magical week full of love, gratitude and fun, fun, FUN!
