Your Movie Adventure

"No matter what happens tomorrow, for the rest of my life, I’m happy now…" ~Bill Murray, Groundhog Day

Little Gems of Wisdom & Fun from Mary Lynn Ziemer

Your life is like a movie. And you are the director. You have the amazing ability to create an incredible, awesome movie script, each and every day. You are unique, original, brilliant and magnificent. So, you want to be sure you create something exciting for yourself today, something that lives up to the standard of the oh-so powerful YOU that you truly are! Something wonderful, joyful and fun... something that makes you happy now. We live our life one frame at a time, within the movie called “Today.” It is entirely up to us how much love, gratitude, and fun we pour into each experience we create to get our desired outcome.

Why do I say your life is like a movie? Because, the truth is, we think in pictures. The words we use simply translate into a picture. It is that picture which becomes the outcome of the reality we experience. For example, if I say chair, you’ll see a picture of a chair in your mind. You’ll be able to describe it to me. That’s why it’s so important for you to have a picture in your mind of what you want. You are only limited by how far you can stretch your imagination. So, be sure to expand it as far as you can. Reach for the Universe to get the outcome of your dreams.

Whatever it is that you want to achieve, no matter how big or small, you need always to finish your thought with a snapshot, a picture that represents the most joyful, fun outcome that you can imagine.

How can you start creating your "perfect life" movie?

Step 1: Simply think about how you want your life (your 'movie') to look today. What fun things would you being doing in your job, and how does your job unfold for you? How do you picture your dream job? What adventures fill your soul with joy? How about your health? When you imagine having fabulous relationships with all the people in your life right now, how does that look to you? How do your children show up? How about your boss, or partner, or spouse, etc.?

Step 2: Once you have a picture that represents the outcome that you desire, repeat it over and over again, and feel the joy of having it. When a topic from your movie comes up in your mind, use your picture and the associated positive thoughts only, nothing else. Create the scene, the situation, the circumstances, and the people in the way you want them to be, then put a snapshot in your mind.

Remember, you are the director, producer, scriptwriter, costume designer, cameraperson, technical advisor, and every other role. You create every part of every scene. You create all the characters, all their lines, and yours.

Step 3: Feel gratitude for this amazing life movie you've created. In order for you to fuel the creation of the outcome you want most quickly, you have to feel really, really good. That means you must use pictures that make you feel great! Love, gratitude, and fun must be a part of every scene, including every person’s personality.

Step 4: Know it will happen. Now, don’t worry about how it will happen, just feel all that love and gratitude that I’m talking about, and focus on the end result that you want in your mind. Know that it is a done deal. Feel that it is already happening for you now, and you are on your way to creating the best movie ever, the only one that exists, the one called Today.

When you wake up tomorrow, and every day after that, use this same tool again, and you’ll create another special, fun, and fantastic movie... also called "Today!"

Have an absolutely magical day full of love gratitude and fun!
