There are some specific habits you can form to get you on the fast track to where you want to be...to help you start creating more of what you want, in the moment you are experiencing it.
The first step is to start from where you are right now, in this present moment. "Now" is the only time that actually exists...so you must start from here! This step requires that you focus solely on what you have going on in front of you, in the moment you are in. If you are happy and having fun in that moment, stay with that good feeling, expanding it even further to give you more joy. However, if you wish a situation were different, you must look at everything with fresh eyes.
When we feel lots of love and become calm, our perspective of everything in our life changes. We see things in a new way. When we are truly calm, we are able to see the blessings and the potential that the moment holds for us. We look to create something new and different, something that is sure to give us joy. We are able to stay focused on the outcome we want so much more easily.
So, in your mind, practice seeing yourself with a blank sheet of paper in front of you as you begin the creative process. Know that you get to decide what the next experience of your life will be, based on how you see it and how you feel. So, go ahead and script it... from a place of love and calm! In your mind, picture the perfect outcome, the one that you want. Feel lots of love for it, for you, and for everyone involved.
Be persistent in this effort by being keenly aware of how you feel in the present moment. Focus on your life and what you can create, right now, that feels good and brings you peace. The more you concentrate on now, by making choices that feel good in the present moment, the more easily you are able to take care of “your future.” The results will be amazing!
To begin practicing the powerful act of living in the now, place your full attention on whatever activity you have at hand. Notice how much more calming it is to do one thing at a time, as you fully immerse your mind and energy in it. You calm your mind as you focus on just one activity to complete. As you are focused on it, expect the outcome that you want. Practice this, and remember that you are the power that creates your life. So feel good in that moment. Feel love and joy for whatever you are doing: for you, others involved, the activity you are completing, etc.
Then, stop and feel grateful. Recognize the beauty of your surroundings. Feel the joy of connecting with those you are with, or be immersed in the simple act of whatever you are doing. Whether you are driving a car, completing a project or task, eating a meal, engaging in a conversation, petting your cat or dog, walking in nature, etc., focus on only that activity. There is always something you can be grateful for in the moment. You just have to look for it. Instead of multi-tasking, try staying solely focused on what is happening in that moment. Allow your senses to fully take in whatever you hear, see, feel, touch, and taste at that moment. What are you experiencing right now? Just take the moment and feel the incredible potential of the joy that exists in the simple act of being.
Now, begin again. Practice scripting your next moment. Focus on feeling more love, gratitude, and fun with wherever you are and whatever you are doing. Shift your perspective to all of the blessings you have in the moment, and you’ll have the calm mindset required to script what you want in the next.
In summary, how can you get what you want most quickly? It is all in the way we see things. When we feel lots of love and gratitude for everyone and everything, including us, we are calm. Our calmness expands our imagination and allows us to see more potential and opportunities everywhere. That calmness gives us the inspiration and confidence to act and to script more of what we want, knowing that we are the power that creates our world.
