"There is no passion to be found playing small... in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living." ~ Nelson Mandela
Little Gems of Wisdom & Fun from Mary Lynn Ziemer
What do you want from your life? At the end of the day, we get to decide what our life looks like. The choice is solely ours. So, it’s important to ask ourselves, “What do I feel passionate about?” If we could be, do, or have anything... what would it be?
The easiest path to happiness and success begins with passion. Passion is a powerful emotion. It is a boundless enthusiasm for your heart's desire.
Somewhere deep down inside, we may feel like we are meant for more. But, we’ve let other aspects of our life take a higher priority. Perhaps you’ve said to yourself, "I need to wait until I have enough money." Or, "Once my children are grown and on their own." Or perhaps, "I’ll do it when this next big project or deal is done," …etc. "Then, I’ll finally take an action towards what I really want to do."
Passion involves knowing that whatever it is that you seek can be had. And it’s never to late or too soon to begin. When you act on positive feelings of strength and joy, nothing can keep you from it. This is all about having fun in your life. It's all about feeling good and making choices that bring you personal peace, because you know it to be your truth. Acting on your passion comes most easily when your love tank is full, when your confidence in yourself is strong, and you feel empowered. If you follow your heart’s desire and take that leap of faith, you will know the deepest form of success.
So, how can you begin?
Start by putting passion into everything now, whether it's personal or professional. No matter what you are doing in your life today. Even if you are in a profession or position in life that does not yet fulfill your dreams. When you do, you will begin to feel your power.
Passion, love, and fun are the way to receiving your due. Whatever you find yourself doing today, find the passion in doing it. Think with your heart and make it fun! Be passionate about the love that you have for your family, your clients, and your friends. Let them feel the deep caring and feelings of joy and love that you have for them. When you do, you will become a client magnet, a people magnet. Wherever you go, others will feel your presence and delight in your smile.
Speak your words with passion, incorporate it into your body language, and let it show in all of your activities, your presentations, and proposals. Make sure that your positive feelings and desire to serve shine forth. Let everyone see your genuine interest and heartfelt warmth.
Smile from your heart, smile with your face, and smile with your mind. Even "smile with your liver." :) (Ketut Leyir From the movie Eat Pray Love ~ by Elizabeth Gilbert)
Feel it deep within. Smile and feel lots of love for everyone and everything.
When you do, you will receive the greatest pleasure of all... love in return, in it's purest form. As you do this more and more, you will feel amazing about your daily life and your clarity about what you want will increase.
You will propel yourself to greater heights of joy, to that higher level of awareness about how to make your personal dreams come true.
Then, listen to the voice within as it prods you forward with new ideas and opportunities. Take the action that feels right for you and watch your dreams blossom.
Passion is an intense love for your desire. You are meant to live with passion each and every day. True passion has love and adventure at it’s core and love is always the shortcut to living life with lots of fun!
