Is it possible to make every day a wonderful day?  Is it possible to have a day filled with peace and joy, no matter the circumstances?

The answer is yes! You have the power to create your day.  But, how do we go about it?  We must look for the blessings before us.  Gratitude is a source of love, calm, and joy.  So, the more gratitude you feel, the happier you become.

What does that mean, in a practical sense? Let’s begin with the small things to get you started. It means that you must focus on what’s in front of you, the moment you are living, in a way that allows you to feel more love and gratitude.  How?

First, you need to remember that you are creating everything in your life. So feeling truly happy and calm is the key to creating more of what you really want.  Nothing depends on others. This doesn’t mean that others won’t or can’t help us, but everything is up to you and the choices that you make!

So today let’s begin by feeling the grace of gratitude.   When you say, “I love you” and “thank you” all day long, either in your mind or out loud, in a very short period of time you will feel incredible. This is where the magic begins to happen.

The path to authentic happiness is there for everyone. The practice is to arrive “home to your heart” in each moment. Touch the peace and joy within you by appreciating absolutely everything and everyone that you come into contact with throughout your day. Yes, it all boils down to one simple step!   Feel love and gratitude for everything before you, and you will have more joy in that moment.

Practice expressing gratitude all day long.  Say thank you to each and every person you come into contact with. Tell them you care and be specific. Say to those special people in your life, "I love you,"  " I appreciate you,"  "Thank you for all you do for me," "I am so grateful to have you in my life," or “I am so very grateful to have met you!”

There are endless kind words you can use to express your gratitude and love for others, whether family, friends, colleagues, or strangers.

Use texts, notes, cards, letters, email and, of course, your most pleasant and authentic voice often.  Mix it up and reinforce the message of love and blessings often. You can never give these priceless gifts too often!

And most importantly, everything begins with you loving you.  You can only give love to others if your own love tank is full.  You must have it to give first.  So don’t forget to treat yourself in the same new way. Tell yourself you appreciate yourself, feeling love and gratitude for yourself as well as for everyone and everything. Warm and loving feelings for even the smallest things in your life is the way to a more magical day.

If you truly make this a habit, and do this all day long, you will be in awe of how incredible your day becomes. As time goes on, you will find your life to be truly amazing. What you want in your heart will begin to show up in your world.

Have an absolutely magical week full of love, gratitude and fun, fun, fun!
