What Feeds Your Soul?

"Passion is energy. Feel the power that comes from focusing on what excites you." -Oprah Winfrey

Little Gems of Wisdom & Fun from Mary Lynn Ziemer

Everyone has unique talents and abilities. It's important to honor ourselves by taking time to reflect on who we are and the gifts that we have to offer. Expressing ourselves in our own unique way will bring more energy, peace, and calm. It is a way to expand to a boundless energy that naturally feels so good. And when we feel good we create more of what we want! People who love what they do are most often very successful.

Have you ever heard the saying “Money always follows our passion?” How you express your creative feelings is not as important as simply the act of doing it (as long as the activity brings you joy!)

You have talents that you may not be aware of yet. Your soul longs to express itself through your own unique flow of creativity. Experience life in ways that feel fun to you. Today, just select something that comes to your mind and do it. It's really quite simple...

Put on a tune and sing to it, dance by yourself to some music that moves you, create a meal, draw, paint, or play your favorite instrument for a while. Writing or journaling, organizing, taking pictures, sewing, gardening... activities like these will bring out the joyful feelings inside you. Allow yourself to have fun and give yourself permission to play! Notice as you begin to feel happier, reenergized, and rejuvenated.

We are creative beings at our core, longing for new experiences, and there are so many for us to try. They can be big or small. Just try doing something different today, something that feels fun.

When we do what is most aligned with our true nature, we will always feel good and we’ll get great results. So, no matter what you have to do, do it with fun in mind. If necessary, take a break and regroup. Do something that feels relaxing, calming, or more fun, and it will actually aid you in your productivity, bringing you even more success! Why? Because we are coming back to our heart, and our heart holds our power. That power is love, and love is always at the heart of fun. When our heart is open to giving and receiving love, our minds become calmer and we are inspired. And inspiration always serves us well.

Enjoying experiences in our lives is of the utmost importance to our happiness. Real happiness is striving toward our potential. What you enjoy may be different from what others define as "quality time." But, that is not important. Do what makes you feel good and gives you joy. As you focus on following your heart, and having fun with everything, your life will immediately be happier, more fulfilled, and you’ll get great results.

Why are people who love what they do so successful? Because they have fun all day long.

So, remember to have fun with everything you do, and you’ll get the best results. Have more fun with your clients and you’ll create more of them. See the fun in your special relationships and they will become more awesome than ever. And, if you want to have more money, be grateful for what you have now and imagine having more fun than ever with it. It works the same with everything. Make your fitness time fun for better health. When you have fun with what you are doing, you will see the outcomes you want.

Do you want to wake up in the morning excited, jumping out of bed with a thirst for life? Learning to have more fun as you go through your day, no matter what you have going on, can be a driving force to achieve a state of daily enthusiasm and joy. Just try a smile and some happy words to get you started. It’s as simple as that.

Have an absolutely magical week full of love, gratitude and fun, fun, FUN!
